Certification of Winners in the 2011 Elections by NEC
The National Elections Commission (NEC) is today expected to certificate incumbent President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, her vice presidential running mate, Joseph Nyumah Boakai, 15 Senators elect and 73 Representatives elect for winning the 2011 Presidential and Legislative Elections


US, EU Congratulate Pres Sirleaf On Re-election
President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has received congratulations on her re-election from U.S. Secretary of State Hillary R. Clinton and the Presdent of the European Commission, Jose' Manuel Barroso. In a State Department press release issued on Tuesday, Secretary Clinton said that the United States "congratulates President Sirleaf on her re-election and will continue to work with her and all elected officials to advance democracy, and promote peace and prosperity.".
