INEC To Print 187 million Ballot Papers for Nigeria's 2023 Elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has disclosed that it will print 187 million ballot papers ahead of Nigeria’s General Elections slated to hold on 25th February 2023.

According to the National Commissioner and Chairman of the Information and Voter Education Committee, Mr. Festus Okoye, 93.5 million ballot papers would be used at the presidential elections, and the remaining 93.5 million ballot papers would be for run-off elections where there is no clear winner at the polls.

Mr Okoye made this comment at a Roundtable with Bureau Chiefs/Editors in Abuja.

Meanwhile, the electoral body has called for calm, asking political parties and their candidates to carry out their campaign activities peacefully devoid of attacks and insults.
