The 2020 parliamentary election was closely contested, with Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah of the NPP winning with 50.2%, amidst controversy and violence that marred the collation of results which led to the death of some people with others severely injured.
The electoral commission website shows he took over 56% of the vote, beating six opposition candidates.
Official results are set to be announced on Sunday or Monday.
